The University of Gwadar and the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics(PIDE), Islamabad, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on December 29th, 2023 in the Conference room of CPEC Study Center University of Gwadar.

On the occasion, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed Dr. Nadeem ul haq Vice Chancellor, PIDE, Dr. Dure Nayab, Pro Vice Chancellor PIDE, Dolat Khan, Registrar UG, Dr. Waqar, Director PIDE, Rehmat Ullah PSO to VC UG and Assistant Registrar UG were present to ink the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.

The leadership of UG and PIDE, while signing the MoU, expressed their strong desire to strengthen university-industry linkages. Both institutions also agreed upon organizing joint conferences, research projects, faculty/student exchange programs, and internship opportunities for UG students
