The University of Gwadar held a student orientation session on October 16, 2024, at the Mir Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri Auditorium, PCTVI, to warmly welcome the newly enrolled students. The session aimed to facilitate the students' transition into university life, providing them with key information and resources to ensure their success at the university.

The orientation commenced with a welcome address by the Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, who encouraged the students to take full advantage of the opportunities the University of Gwadar offers. He also emphasized the university's commitment to excellence and encouraged new students to make the most of their time at the university.

SSP Gwadar Najeeb Ullah Pandarani also addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of maintaining a safe and conducive environment for students to thrive academically and socially. The session provided a platform for students to familiarize themselves with the university's structure, faculty members, and available support systems.

Earlier, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof Dr. Jan Muhammad in his presentation, briefed the participants about the university's education system, examination policies, scholarships for students and other opportunities. Senior faculty deans of the university, chairperson departments, and administrative staff were also present on the occasion, along with students and their parents.

The rest of the speakers delivered insightful speeches emphasizing the university's commitment to academic excellence and student development. This orientation marks the beginning of a new educational journey for the students, setting the tone for a productive and enriching university experience at the University of Gwadar.
