The World Bank in collaboration with the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) organized a focus group discussion at the University of Gwadar.

"The World Bank, in collaboration with the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) and the University of Gwadar conducted focus group discussions under the theme "Reform for a Brighter Future: Time to Decide" at the University of Gwadar on 31st August 2023.

Mr. Ahsan Achakzai, Assistant Professor, of BUITEMS, and Dr. Kambar Farooq, Assistant Professor, of the University of Gwadar, moderated these discussions, which primarily engaged students from the field of social sciences of the University.

The discussions delved into a wide array of crucial topics, including rationalizing government expenditure, enhancing revenue streams, catalyzing private sector transformation, agricultural sector reforms, addressing educational disparities, and pursuing sustainable energy solutions, among others.
