Mr. Mathar Niaz Rana, Chief Secretary of Balochistan, visited the University of Gwadar on February 28, 2022. The Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir (TI), welcomed the honorable guests to the university. The Chief Secretary of Balochistan was accompanied by Muhammad Hashim Gilzai, Additional Secretary of Home, Mr. Salman Mufti, Additional Secretary of Planning, and Retd. Captain Jameel Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner of Gwadar.
Mr. Daulat Khan, Registrar, University of Gwadar, briefed the guests about the university. The Chief Secretary of Balochistan assured the full support of the government of Balochistan for the University of Gwadar. The Chief Secretary of Balochistan specially attended the welcome party program, which was held at the seminar hall of the university. Addressing the students at the program, he said, "The University of Gwadar will play a significant role in the CEPC project and in the development of Balochistan, which will lead to the success of the country." He further urged the students to focus on their studies and work for the future of their province and country. While addressing the students, Mr. Mathar Niaz Rana, Chief Secretary of Balochistan, assured them of providing the necessary facilities and opportunities for attaining quality education and research activities.
While speaking on this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said, "We are born to learn, and the university is the most rational and high-learning platform where you can use your knowledge and skills for the self-development and prosperity of society." At the end of the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Abdul Razzaq Sabir presented the university souvenirs to the guests.
