The senior students of the Education Department at the University of Gwadar organized a colorful function on 01-02-2024, aiming to warmly welcome the freshers in the Education Department UG. The event featured lively performances, including comical sketches, songs, tableau, speeches, poetry, and other creative acts. Senior students and faculty members extended a warm welcome. Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gwadar (UG), graced the function as the chief guest. Madam Shahnaz Noor, the Chairperson of the Education Department, Mukhtar Bashir, the Chairperson of the Economic Department, Sadia Naseer, the Director of Students Affairs and Chairperson of the English Department, along with faculty members and students of various departments attended the event wholeheartedly.

Addressing the occasion, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir emphasized the significance of the university as a platform for learning and self-development. He pledged to continue providing opportunities and facilities such as internship programs, semester exchange programs, scholarships, workshops, laboratories, libraries, exposure visits, and other resources necessary for quality education and research activities.

The Vice-Chancellor conveyed expectations from students, stating that their university life plays a crucial role in shaping their future. He appreciated the faculty members and students for their efforts in organizing the event and expressed gratitude for making it memorable.
