The first meeting of the University of Gwadar’s Syndicate was held on February 11, 2022, at HEC Reginal Center Karachi, under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir.

At the start of the program, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, welcomed the members of the Syndicate. He then briefed the house about the work, progress, and future planning of the university to ensure quality education and the promotion of research activities in the university.

The Vice Chancellor, while expressing his opinions on this occasion, said,

"With the continued keen interest of the public representatives, civil society, and timely support from HEC and the federal and provincial government, our institution has the potential to become an excellent university on par with international institutions of higher learning."

Different recommendations were made in the meeting on academic and administrative matters that were endorsed after thorough deliberation and discussion by the honorable members of the syndicate.

The Vice Chancellor welcomed the suggestions and assured the members that every possible measure would be taken for the promotion of quality education, research, and development of the university. The house lauded the unprecedented progress of the university in a short span of time under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir.

The meeting was attended by the Syndicate members: Aslam Bhootani (MNA from Gwadar), Dostain Khan Jamaldini (Secretary Forest govt. of Balochistan) , Dolat Khan (Registrar UG), Rehmatullah (Acting Treasurer UG), Shanaz Noor (Acting Director QEC UG) and Mujahid Hussain (Acting Controller Examination UG).

The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the worthy Vice Chancellor.
