Qawali Night was organized by the students and administration at the University of Gwadar on September 6th 2022. In which the students entertained the audience with Balochi songs and Urdu Sufi Kalam and Qawali. GOC 44 SSD Major General Inayat Hussain was the Chief Guest of Qawali Night program. While the program was presided by Vice Chancellor  University of Gwadar  Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir.  Other distinguished guests included Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Capt Rtrd Jameel Ahmad, Commander 44 Brigade Brigadier Mohammad Amir Umrani, Registrar UG Prof. Dolat Khan, Principal Degree College Gwadar Prof. Imdad Baloch, DDEO (F) Madam Bilqees Sulaiman and other officers were present.

In the Qawali Night program, Aswad (a student of Education Department), along with his fellows, gave a wonderful performance and received great applause from the audience.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Major General Inayat Hussain appreciated the efforts of the students and urged them to pay full attention to their curricular activities apart from extra-curricular activities and make the name of their university bright in every field. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor University of Gwadar said that "the purpose of organizing this event is to enlighten the students with the Sufi Kalam and instructions of intellectuals, apart from the curricular activities and to make them grow".

At the end of the ceremony, the Chief Guest, Major General Inayat Hussain, presented prizes to the student singers and musicians for presenting excellent Qawali. Apart from faculty, a large number of students also participated in the ceremony
