Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar said that the world is changing its curves very fast. With our best planning, we are rapidly succeeding in developing the educational environment in the entire province, especially in the Makran division, and the time is not far when the talented students graduate from the educational institutions of Gwadar, Turbat, Panjgur, etc. But they will succeed in making their name and position. He expressed these views while addressing the academic staff and students on the occasion of his visit to the University of Gwadar on Friday 9th June 2023.
On this occasion, Gwadar University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmad, Deputy Commissioner Gwadar Izzat Nazeer, Principal Secretary to Governor Balochistan Abdul Nasir Dotani, Deputy Education Officer Gwadar Abdul Wahab Majeed, local politician, administrative officers, and senior faculty members, HoDs administrative staff of the university and A large number of students were also present.
Earlier he formally inaugurated the Acadmic Block-lll of the Univerdity and planted a tree there.
On occasion of interaction with faculty and students of the univerdity, Governor Balochistan said that to meet modern requirements, we have to keep pace with the ever-changing world. He said that the establishment of Gwadar University is having a positive impact on educational development in the entire Makran Division. Governor Balochistan directed that the speed of construction of buildings in the university should be accelerated. He said that the policy of taking everyone together can lead the country and the province to sustainable development. He said that there is a need to formulate a comprehensive strategy to deal with the challenges.
The Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor gave a detailed briefing to Governor Balochistan about the University. Governor and Chancellor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar made a detailed visit to the academic block of the University and the Pak-China Technical and Vocational Institute and appreciated the availability of resources there.
Governor Balochistan appreciated the tireless efforts of Gwadar University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and his entire team. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Saber thanked Governor Balochistan for his particular interest, and later Governor Balochistan and his Principal Secretary were given commemorative shields and traditional gifts. Earlier, two children presented bouquets to the governor upon arriving at the university.
