Provincial Minister for Colleges, Higher & Technical Education Department  Ms. Raheela Hameed Durrani chaired an introductory meeting of the Vice Chancellors of the Public Sector Universities (PSUs) of Balochistan in Quetta on May 6, 2024.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir (TI), Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, along with all Vice Chancellors (VCs) and Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVCs) of Public Sector Universities of Balochistan, and the Secretary of Colleges and Higher Education in Balochistan, participated. Vice-chancellor UG Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir briefed the Minister for Education about the overall progress, achievements, issues, and financial matters. All the VCs/PVCs appreciated the education minister for holding the interactive meeting to address the issues and challenges faced by the universities of the province. Ms. Raheela Hameed Durrani listened to the issues and problems of each university in detail and vowed to resolve the key issues of all the PSUs on a priority basis. She assured to take up all the pressing problems of the provincial universities with the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Chairman HEC, and the Federal Government.
