The University of Gwadar was honored to host a distinguished guest, the Director General of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan, on 9th May 2024 on a visit to the University of Gwadar. On his arrival at Gwadar University, the Director General was warmly welcomed by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed. DG NAB accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Rashid Director of the NAB sub-office Gwadar.

During his visit, the Director General of NAB Balochistan, Izhar Ahmed Ahewan engaged in discussions with university officials to explore potential collaborations and initiatives aimed at promoting transparency, integrity, and ethical values within the academic and administrative spheres. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and perspectives on combating corruption and fostering accountability in all sectors of society.

The Vice-Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor expressed their gratitude to the Director General for his visit and reaffirmed the university's commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and accountability in its operations. They emphasized the importance of partnerships between academic institutions and governmental agencies in addressing societal challenges and promoting good governance.

The Director General praised the University of Gwadar for its commitment to achieving high academic standards and its proactive efforts to instill ethical values in students, faculty, and staff. He expressed his willingness to support the university's efforts in promoting a culture of integrity and accountability within the academic community and beyond.

On this occasion, Controller of Examinations UG Prof Dr. Rahim Bakhsh Mehr, PSO to Vice Chancellor Rahmatullah, In charge of Public Relations Naseer Muhammad was also present.

The visit concluded with the presenting Shield to the distinguished guest.
