The jirga became a forum for talking about issues that plague the residents of Gwadar, such as economic hardships, the dearth of educational setups, and illegal trawling in the waters near the coast. The local participants demanded recognition of the rights of indigenous peoples in local resources and asked the government to act expeditiously and sustainably. The Chief Minister assured the attendees that their concerns would be addressed on a priority basis and that relevant departments had already been instructed to take immediate action. During the jirga, the Chief Minister promptly responded to suggestions made by female students of the University of Gwadar. The Chief Minister provided a motor scooter to one student on the spot and immediately ordered the allotment of the girls' youth hostel to the girls' students of the university to another request. These swift actions reflected the government’s sincere commitment to youth welfare and educational support.
