University of Gwadar Holds Follow-Up Meeting on SAR and IPR.

The University of Gwadar conducted a follow-up meeting to review the progress of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) at the program level and the Institutional Performance Report (IPR) at the institute level. The meeting was chaired by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, UG, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, and held on March 20, 2025, in the VC Secritriate.
During the session, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of continuous self-assessment and institutional performance reviews in enhancing academic standards and administrative efficiency. The meeting provided a platform for faculty members and administrative heads to discuss key findings, challenges, and future action plans to improve institutional performance.
The meeting was attended by Registrar UG Dolat Khan, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering and Technology Dr. Mohib Ullah, Director Finance Rehmat Ullah, Director ORIC Muhammad Irshad, Lecturer Ubaid Ali (Management Science Department), Deputy Registrar Abdul Majid, Director Student Affairs Muhammad Farooq, and other faculty members.
The session included in-depth discussions on the progress of SAR and IPR, with a focus on key performance indicators, faculty engagement, and institutional strategies for continuous improvement. Participants actively shared insights, and recommendations were documented for further action.
Director QEC, Madam Rabia Aslam, highlighted the university’s commitment to institutional assessment and quality assurance. She stated, "The process of Self-Assessment and Institutional Performance Reporting has been a continuous effort at the University of Gwadar. Leading up to this follow-up meeting, several pre-meetings were conducted with department heads, faculty members, and administrative staff to ensure a comprehensive evaluation. These discussions allowed us to address critical areas, refine assessment methodologies, and ensure that our academic programs align with quality standards. The SAR and IPR serve as essential tools in our journey toward academic excellence and institutional improvement."
In closing, the Vice Chancellor reaffirmed the University of Gwadar’s commitment to quality assurance and academic excellence. He urged all departments to implement the suggested improvements and maintain a proactive approach toward institutional development.
