Gwadar (UGPR): The University of Gwadar (UG) recently hosted an interactive online session at the conference room of the Pak-China Technical & Vocational Institute, featuring Dr. Moeed Wasim Yousuf, Vice Chancellor of Beaconhouse University, as the distinguished guest speaker. The event was attended by Registrar UG Dr. Dolat Khan, along with the Dean, faculty members, students, and administrative staff of the university. Dr. Yousuf delivered a compelling lecture titled “Live and Let Live in the Digital Age: Combating Radicalisation with Knowledge and Critical Thinking.” The talk highlighted the pivotal role of digital platforms in shaping societal attitudes, stressed the importance of constructive online engagement, and underscored the need to cultivate critical thinking skills among youth in an increasingly interconnected world. The session offered participants a unique opportunity to engage directly with the speaker and reflected on the responsibility of academic institutions in nurturing informed, tolerant, and digitally aware graduates. The session also witnessed virtual participation from administrative heads, faculty members, and students of University of Turbat, Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), University of Makran, and Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar. This collective engagement highlighted a collaborative commitment among universities in Balochistan to promote digital literacy, critical thinking, and responsible online engagement among students across the province.
