The University of Gwadar convened the second meeting of its University Quality Circle (UGQC) on April 22, 2025, at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. Chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and facilitated by Dr. Rabia Aslam, Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), UG. The meeting brought together key stakeholders including Prof Dr Syed Manzoor Ahmed Pro Vice Chancellor UG, Dolat Khan Registrar UG, Prof Dr Jan Muhammad Dean Faculty of Social Sciences UG, Dr. Rahim Bakhsh Mehr Controller Examination UG, Dr. Mohib Ullah Dean Faculty of Science and Engineering UG, Rehmatullah Director Finance UG, Muhammad Irshad Director ORIC UG, and Chairperson of different academic departments to reaffirming the university’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement. The meeting reviewed progress made since the inaugural meeting held in January 2025, formally approved the minutes and action taken report. Dedicated Assessment Teams were constituted to review departmental Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) in alignment with PREE standards and PSG-2023 guidelines. The forum also endorsed the upcoming Teachers and Course Evaluation for Spring 2025, with a focus on strategies to improve student response rates, ensuring meaningful feedback that supports data-driven academic planning. The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts and evidence-based decision-making to enhance academic excellence. The meeting concluded with a shared vision to strengthen the university’s quality assurance framework and uphold the highest institutional standards.
