The University of Gwadar, in collaboration with the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) under the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad, has launched a five-day training program to enhance the capacity of its administrative staff as part of the National Outreach Program. The program aims to promote the professional development of university administration and refine their skills.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, and Tahir Abbas Zaidi, Project Coordinator of the National Outreach Program. The training sessions are being led by Ms. Ambreen Barwani, Senior Resource Manager at the Career Development Center, IBA Karachi. The program is being coordinated by Raja Asif, the Training Coordinator.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed emphasized the importance of enhancing administrative capabilities, stating, "This program reflects our commitment to equipping our administration with the skills needed to address the evolving challenges in higher education."
Tahir Abbas Zaidi lauded the University of Gwadar’s proactive efforts in professional development and highlighted NAHE’s key role in supporting higher education institutions across Pakistan.
Ms. Ambreen Barwani began the program with a session on strategic planning and effective decision-making, drawing from her extensive experience. The training includes interactive workshops focused on leadership, communication, and administrative best practices tailored to the needs of the university’s administration.
