Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gwadar; Mr. Dolat Khan, Registrar of the University of Gwadar; Maj Gen Inayat Hussain, General Officer Commanding (GOC) 44 Special Security Division; Rd. Capt. Jameel Ahmed Baloch, Deputy Commissioner of Gwadar; Brigadier Fahad Mansoor, academic staff, and students of the University were present.
Mr. Mather Niaz Rana, Chief Secretary of Balochistan, spoke on the occasion and congratulated all the students who received laptop computers.
The honorable guest stated in his address that the Balochistan government strives to provide higher education and the best facilities for Balochistan students. He went on to say that all students' priority should be to serve their country and province.
CPEC is a significant economic project, and Gwadar University is an important source of human resources for CPEC.
In his welcome speech, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, thanked the Government of Balochistan, particularly Mr. Mather Niaz Rana, Chief Secretary of Balochistan, for taking a keen interest in the flourishing University of Gwadar and extending unending support to create an environment conducive to the promotion of quality of higher education in this remote part of the country.
Major General Inayat Hussain, GOC, 44 SSD, stated in his address that no nation can develop without education and the promotion of quality education, and Gwadar is one of his top priorities.
It is commendable in this age of technology and innovation to provide such facilities to students to promote research culture in higher education institutions.
Prof. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, presented the university's memorial shield to the guests and made them wear the Balochi Chaddar, making this event memorable.
