In a landmark event underscoring Pakistan-China collaboration, Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Gwadar University and Executive Director of Pakistan-China Technical and Vocational Institute (PCTVI), and Mr. Passand Khan Buledi, Chairman of Gwadar Port Authority (GPA), participated in the China-Pakistan Dialogue on Industry and Education Cooperation Agenda. The event was hosted in Jinan, China, where distinguished leaders from academia and industry were present.
Dr. Manzoor Ahmed and Pasand Khan Buledi signed groundbreaking agreements with prominent Chinese institutions, including Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology Institute, Beijing Institute of Economics and Management, Shandong Urban Construction Vocational College, Shandong Vocational Animal Science, and Veterinary College, The agreements mark the establishment of the Luba-Mozi College (COPHC) in Pakistan, a visionary initiative aimed at fostering academic, technical, and vocational excellence between the two nations.
The opening ceremony and the dialogue saw participation from several key figures, including Prof Wang, President of Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology (SICT), Mr. Zhang Baozong, Director of the China Foundation for Peace and Development, Mr. Yu Bo, Chairman of China Overseas Port Holding Company Limited (COPHCL).
The Luba-Mozi College (COPHC) will serve as a hub for advanced research, technical training, and education, bridging the gap between industry and academia in Gwadar. It reflects the mutual commitment of China and Pakistan to promote innovation, knowledge exchange, and socio-economic development under the Belt and Road Initiative, CPEC, and Maritime Silk Route.
