Groundbreaking Ceremony of Academic Block-1 at the New Site of the University of Gwadar.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Academic Block-1 at its new campus site of the University of Gwadar is a significant milestone in the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational infrastructure. The ceremony of groundbreaking was inaugurated with a Duha by the esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, in the presence of Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Syed Manzoor Ahmed, and engineers of the University.

The vision for the new Academic Block-1 is to create a state-of-the-art educational facility that will provide an optimal learning environment for both students and faculty.

In a statement, the Vice Chancellor UG Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir highlighted the importance of this development. "The groundbreaking of Academic Block-1 represents a significant step forward in our commitment to academic excellence. This facility will feature modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, and dedicated research spaces, all aimed at fostering a culture of innovation and academic growth."

Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Syed Manzoor Ahmed also emphasized the project's significance, stating, "This new academic block is a critical component of our strategic plan to expand and enhance our campus facilities. It will serve as a cornerstone for future academic achievements and will support the holistic development of our students."

The University of Gwadar has been a beacon of higher education in the region, offering a wide range of academic programs tailored to meet the needs of its diverse student body. The development of the new campus is a strategic initiative to increase the university’s capacity and elevate the quality of education it provides.

Academic Block 1 is part of the initial phase of the new campus development plan, which includes various academic and administrative buildings, recreational facilities, and student accommodations. The project aims to create a comprehensive and sustainable educational environment that will benefit both current and future generations.

The completion of the construction of Academic Block-1 is expected by June 2025.
