A ceremony was held at Gwadar University to mark Defence Day of Pakistan. The event took place in the seminar hall under the aegis of Gwadar University and was attended by many senior faculty members and students. Notable attendees included Professor Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor of Gwadar University; Lieutenant Colonel Farhan Anwar of the Pakistan Army, Dr, Mir Waheed Akhlaq Karakorum Assistant Professor Karakorum Internationl University, Controller of Examinations Dr. Raheem Bakhsh Mehr, Dean of Social Sciences Dr. Jan Muhammad, Dean of Science, Engineering & Technology Dr. Mohibullah and Registrar Dolat Khan.

In his address, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed highlighted that Defence Day reminds us of national unity and the unparalleled sacrifices made for our country. He emphasized that the youth of our armed forces have offered their lives in defense of the homeland, and it is due to their sacrifices that we breathe freely in our independent nation.

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant Colonel Farhan Anwar of the Pakistan Army urged everyone to commit to strengthening the nation in every sector, continuing their efforts to build a stronger Pakistan.

Senior faculty member Dr. Rabia from the Education Department praised the martyrs' sacrifices and noted that our national heroes' courage and bravery serve as a guiding light for all of us.
