An academic and administrative meeting was held at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, University of Gwadar, under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir. The meeting reviewed the Fall 2026 admissions, achievement of admission targets, and preparations for the commencement of the new academic semester in detail. The meeting was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Registrar Dr. Dolat Khan, Director Finance Rehmatullah, Director QEC Dr. Rabia Aslam, Director ORIC Dr. Muhammad Irshad Buleedi, and heads of various departments. Addressing the meeting, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir emphasized the need to further strengthen the Fall 2026 admission campaign to ensure the achievement of the university’s prescribed admission targets. He directed all relevant departments and faculty members to promote the university’s academic programs effectively and to reach out to the maximum number of prospective students. He stressed the adoption of a systematic, transparent, timely, and student-friendly admission process. The Vice Chancellor also urged faculty members to play an active role in the admission campaign and reach prospective students through awareness activities, visits to schools and colleges, social media campaigns, and direct communication. He emphasized continuous monitoring of department-wise admission targets. Regarding the commencement of the new academic semester, the Vice Chancellor highlighted the importance of academic discipline and timely preparations. He directed the faculty to ensure completion of teaching schedules, course allocations, teaching materials, classrooms, and other necessary academic arrangements. The Vice Chancellor urged all concerned officers, faculty members, and staff to work with cooperation, commitment, and responsibility to achieve the university’s admission targets and ensure a successful start to the new academic semester.
