    University of Gwadar Commerce Department Students arrange a free medical camp in Gwadar

    Students of the Commerce Department of the University of Gwadar have arranged a free medical camp at Moondi-New Dor junction, Gwadar in collaboration with the District Health Department of Gwadar.

    A free medical camp at Moondi-New Dor junction on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023 was a huge success, Students, Faculty, and Administrative staff made it possible.

    To inculcate a sense of responsibility and to help patients fight various prevailing diseases, the Students of the Commerce department arranged a free medical camp.

    For this noble cause, the University of Gwadar and additional deputy commissioner Mr. Zakir Ali sponsored the free medical camp. This camp had enthusiastic contributions and support from students, faculty, and administration.  

    After the medical checkup, the patients were provided free medicines to fight against the most common diseases.

    On the occasion, 290+ patients were examined and treated, including men, women, children, and old-aged.

    Doctors, along with the civil hospital staff, and volunteers of Indus (GDA) hospital professionally examined the patients as per standard examination procedure and provided medicines. 

    Appreciating the efforts and support of students and staff of UG, DHO Gwadar, and the Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital; Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir (TI) said that besides its academic and non-academic activities, the University of Gwadar has always been committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities as well. 

    Students of the Department of Commerce as organizers and the Department of Chemistry as volunteers facilitated the camp. They said there is a need for more initiatives and are committed to organizing such camps shortly.
