University of Gwadar Approves PhD in Business Management Curriculum.

The University of Gwadar has marked another significant step in its pursuit of academic excellence as the Department of Management Sciences convened its Board of Studies (BoS) meeting in the conference room at PCTVI UG. The meeting focused on the modernization and expansion of academic programs, culminating in the formal approval of the curriculum for the PhD in Business Management. This development represents a major milestone in strengthening the university’s research capacity and advancing higher education standards in the region. The valuable contributions of distinguished internal and external experts enriched the session. Dr. Benish Malik, Professor at the Institute of Management Sciences, University of Balochistan, provided insightful and constructive guidance on curriculum development and academic standards. Dr. Kamber, currently pursuing his postdoctoral research in Italy, joined virtually and shared detailed written feedback. Dr. Riaz Mazar from the University of Turbat thoroughly reviewed and endorsed the proposed courses and strategic direction. Among the internal members, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Dean of the Faculty of Social Science, Mr. Fida Hussain, chairperson, management sciences department, Mr. Ubaid Ali (Lecturer), and Dr. Asif (Assistant Professor) actively participated in rigorous academic discussions, ensuring the program aligns with contemporary educational and research demands. Chairman Fida Hussain emphasized the vision behind the initiative, stating, “The goal is to provide students with a globally competitive education that meets the highest standards of the Higher Education Commission.” The University of Gwadar continues to demonstrate its commitment to fostering a culture of quality research, innovation, and modern learning, reinforcing its role as an emerging center of academic excellence in the region.
