The University of Gwadar organized a one-day hybrid session on “Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning” on 8th April 2026 at the conference hall of PCT&VI UG. The session was conducted by the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science, aiming to equip educators and students with practical AI skills for modern education. The training featured hands-on practice with AI tools, focusing on enhancing teaching methodologies and learning outcomes. Participants were trained in key areas including lesson planning and content development, slides generation, diagram and visual content creation, assessment and quiz development, audio transcription, and content video creation. The session was facilitated by Mr. Hafeezullah, a PhD Scholar in Generative AI and Chairperson of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Gwadar. He shared valuable insights on integrating artificial intelligence into academic environments and emphasized the importance of adopting emerging technologies to improve educational quality. The event witnessed active participation from faculty members, students, and academic professionals, reflecting a strong interest in leveraging AI for educational advancement. The initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to innovation, capacity building, and academic excellence.
