The University of Gwadar and NAB Balochistan host inter-university anti-corruption awareness competitions.

In a significant initiative to foster transparency and integrity among youth, Gwadar University, in collaboration with National Accountability Beauru (NAB) Balochistan organized inter-university, an inter-university anti-corruption awareness competition held on Thursday in the seminar hall of the university, in which the University of Gwadar, University Of Turbat, and the Lasbela University of Agriculture Water and Marine Sciences Lasbela. Students participated.

Vice Chancellor Gwadar University Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir was the chief guest of the event. Waheed Ahmad Chaudhry, Assistant Director of Investigation NAB Gwadar, and Shay Khalid Hussain, Senior Special Prosecutor NAB Gwadar, besides faculty members, a large number of students participated in the event.

Awareness competitions included the Urdu English Speech Competition, Poster Making, and Short Film Making Competition. The aim of this was to educate the young generation against corruption and to promote honesty and transparency at the social level.

The students participating in the speech competition highlighted the negative effects of corruption and emphasized the need for moral leadership and accountability in society while presenting their views. The poster-making competition allowed students to highlight messages of honesty, justice, and transparency in their artistic style.

Along with this, the short filmmaking competition added a new creative touch to the competition, with students creatively presenting anti-corruption stories.

At the end of the ceremony, the University of Gwadar Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir addressed the participants. In his address, he highlighted the importance of collaboration between NAB Balochistan and the university and appreciated the participation of the students. The Vice-Chancellor said, "The eradication of corruption is a struggle in which the participation and determination of the young generation is essential. These competitions organized in our university are an important step towards raising this awareness."

He thanked NAB Balochistan and congratulated the students for taking the positions and asked them to continue to play their positive role in social responsibilities with the same spirit in the future.

Earlier, Shay Khalid Hussain discussed the performance and initiatives of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), highlighting its recent achievements and challenges in tackling corruption. He emphasized the role of NAB as Pakistan's main anti-corruption agency, while noting the importance of transparency and accountability in public offices and state organization awareness competitions.
