Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar said that the development of a Blue Economy in Balochistan can end the economic stagnation of the entire region. The utilization of Marine resources in the long Coastal Belt and the development of related economic activities will prove to be the forerunners of a new economic revolution. In this regard, all the public sector universities of Makran belt including the University of Gwadar must make blue economy revenue generation an integral part of their strategic plan.

While presiding over the Senate meeting of Gwadar University, Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar said that the university aims to promote modern education based on research and by equipping its new generation with modern scientific knowledge, it will become a self-sufficient and developed Balochistan.
