The Financial Aid and Scholarship Office of the University of Gwadar organized a prestigious Scholarship Award Ceremony today, at the Seminar Hall, Block (I). The event marked a significant milestone in the university’s commitment to facilitating higher education by awarding scholarships to deserving students.

34 students were awarded the Chinese Ambassador Special Scholarship Balochistan (CASSB) Phase II, while 55 female students received scholarships through the Sahil Welfare Association in coordination with the Pakistan Navy Scholarship. These scholarships will cover the recipients' entire four-year tuition fees, easing their financial burden and enabling them to pursue academic excellence.

The ceremony was presided over by the Worthy Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, who, in his address, emphasized the university’s unwavering dedication to student welfare and academic success. He appreciated the generous support extended by the Chinese Embassy and the Sahil Welfare Association in coordination with the Pakistan Navy Scholarship, acknowledging their role in promoting higher education in Balochistan, especially in Gwadar.

Also present at the occasion were Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Manzoor, Controller Examination Prof Dr Rahim Bakhsh Mehr, Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences Prof Dr Jan Muhammad, Mr Ubaid Ali Director of Financial Aid & Scholarship who expressed their delight at witnessing students receiving financial assistance to continue their education. They encouraged students to make the most of these opportunities and strive for academic and professional excellence.

The scholarship recipients and their families expressed profound gratitude to the University of Gwadar and the scholarship sponsors.
