Peace and security in South Asia cannot be ensured without resolving the Kashmir issue. the Speaker said.

Gwadar University, like other universities across the country, observed Black Day on October 27 against India's brutal occupation of Kashmir.

A seminar was organized on the occasion of "Kashmir Solidarity Day" at the University of Gwadar.

The seminar was presided over by the Registrar University of Gwadar Dolat Khan. Apart from this, the Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr Jan Muhammad, and Madam Sadia Naseer Director of Students Affairs, Faculty members, administrative staff, and students participated in the seminar.

Describing the Kashmir issue as an incomplete agenda for the division of the subcontinent, the speakers said that peace and security in South Asia cannot be ensured without resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the aspirations of the Kashmiris. Speaker added that three generations of Kashmiris have made immense sacrifices to realize the dream of freedom which will never go in vain and the day is not far when the dawn of freedom will dawn in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

On Black Day, the participants took out a rally at the university holding placards to show solidarity with Kashmiri Muslims and against Indian usurping activities.
