    Memorandum of Understanding signed between University of Gwadar and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA)

    Prof. Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Vice Chancellor University of University of Gwadar, and Dr Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor University of Gwadar called on Deputy Director General PMSA to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 6th, 2022.

    A MoU was signed between UG and PMSA to have agreed to collaborate for faculty and students’ exchanges, curriculum development on maritime affairs, internship programs for University of Gwadar students at PMSA.

    Vice-Chancellor University of Gwadar Prof Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Deputy Director General PMSA Rear Admiral Aamir signed MoU. The MoU is to collaborate for faculty and students exchanges, curriculum development on maritime affairs, internship programs for UG students and faculty, engagement and joint research at PMSA.

    The MoU is, University of Gwadar will introduce Maritime Affairs as an academic course to its all-degree programs and PMSA will provide technical and logistic support for this.

    On the occasion, a productive discussion, regarding academic collaboration and joint research particularly in the field of maritime, marine and social science between Vice Chancellor UG and Director General PMSA. He said that Gwadar University will soon make its unique identity in the fields of teaching and research related to maritime affairs.

    Dr Muhammad Aslam, Dean Faculty of Marine Science at Lasbela University and other PMSA officers were present on the occasion.
