In a significant advancement to strengthen academic and research collaboration, the University of Gwadar and Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the PCT&VI Conference Room on April 21, 2025. The agreement was signed by Mr. Dolat Khan, Registrar of the UG, and Dr. Ashar Afaq, Registrar of Dow University. The ceremony was attended by the Vice Chancellors Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Dr. Mohammad Saeed Quraishy (TI), the Vice Chancellor of Dow University, senior faculty members, and administrative officials from both institutions. The MoU promotes collaboration in various areas, including research, faculty development, student exchange programs, joint conferences, and curriculum enhancement. Both universities have committed to close cooperation to foster the exchange of knowledge, academic growth, and innovation, with a special focus on improving the educational landscape in Balochistan. Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir (TI), Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in empowering students and enhancing research capabilities. He stated, "This collaboration marks the beginning of a new era for the University of Gwadar. Together with Dow University, we will create more opportunities for our youth and contribute to national development."
