A seminar was organized on the occasion of "Kashmir Solidarity Day" at the University of Gwadar on the 6th of Feb 2023.
The seminar was presided over by the worthy Vice-Chancellor University of Gwadar Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir. Apart from this, Mukhtar Bashir, Chairperson Education department, and Madam Shahnaz Hoth, Chairperson Chemistry department a large number of university teachers and students participated in the seminar.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said in his address that Occupied Kashmir was and is a part of Pakistan. The founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam, had declared Kashmir as the backbone of Pakistan.
The Vice-Chancellor University of Gwadar Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir termed the Kashmir issue as an incomplete agenda for the division of the subcontinent and said that peace and security in South Asia will not be ensured without resolving the Kashmir conflict by the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the aspirations of the Kashmiris. He said that three generations of Kashmiris have made immense sacrifices to realize the dream of freedom which will never go in vain and the day is not far when the dawn of freedom will dawn in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Chairperson Education Department Mukhtar Bashir, teachers, and other speakers emphasized that Kashmiris have been making sacrifices for the last two centuries in general and the last 75 years in particular. The freedom-loving people of Kashmir sacrificed their lives, sacrificed their honor, and reputation but never gave up their struggle for freedom and the right to self-determination. He said that the freedom struggle of Kashmiris will continue until they do not get their inalienable right, the right to self-determination.
