Gwadar University commemorates Pakistan Day with patriotic fervour.

Gwadar University celebrated Pakistan Day with great enthusiasm at the university auditorium, holding a special ceremony to honour the historic Lahore Resolution of 1940. The event gathered students, faculty, and distinguished guests to reflect on the significance of this day in Pakistan’s history.
Commander 44 Brigade, Brig. Ehtesham graced the occasion as the chief guest, emphasizing the importance of unity, dedication, and national spirit. In his address, he highlighted the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s forefathers and urged the youth to actively contribute to the country’s progress, particularly in Gwadar’s emerging economic landscape.
The Vice Chancellor of Gwadar University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, delivered an insightful speech on the role of education in national development. He stressed the need for students to uphold the values of hard work, integrity, and patriotism.
Earlier, on Friday, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Commerce, and Economics also organized a similar event to commemorate Pakistan Day. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Dr. Rabia, Assistant Professor of Education, and Dr. Jan Muhammad, Dean of the Faculty, spoke at the gathering, stressing the importance of education, economic development, and national responsibility.
The main ceremony on March 23 was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Registrar Dolat Khan, Director Finance Rematullah Ullah, faculty members, and students who participated enthusiastically.
The celebrations across both days were a testament to Gwadar University’s commitment to fostering national pride and academic excellence, reinforcing the role of education in shaping a brighter future for Pakistan.
