The fifth meeting of the Syndicate of the University of Gwadar was held at 3rd |December 2025 in the conference hall of the Pak-China Technical & Vocational Institute, presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir. Registrar Dr. Dolat Khan presented the agenda items, which were thoroughly discussed by the forum. The meeting included comprehensive deliberations on key academic, administrative, and financial matters of the University. The Syndicate approved the minutes and implementation report of the previous meeting, held on 19 December 2024. Additionally, the minutes of several meetings of the Academic Council and the Finance & Planning Committee were presented for approval, which the forum unanimously endorsed. The Syndicate also approved several necessary new measures aimed at strengthening the University’s institutional performance and administrative capacity. Important policy documents were reviewed, including the revised framework of the HEC Best University Teacher Award (BUTA) and the newly developed criteria for faculty appointments. The decisions of the Academic Council, Finance & Planning Committee, and other committees were also ratified. In addition to routine proceedings, the Syndicate addressed urgent academic, administrative, and financial matters and made the necessary decisions. At the conclusion of the meeting, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir expressed his gratitude to all esteemed members, particularly acknowledging the valuable input and continued support of the representatives of the Government of Balochistan’s Colleges & Higher Education Department—Dr. Mansoor Ahmed and Jehanzaib Mandokhail—and the representative of the Finance Department, Basheer Ahmed, who joined online. He stated that the Syndicate’s decisions will play a pivotal role in the development, progress, and future roadmap of the University of Gwadar.
