Chief Minister Balochistan Fulfills Promise of Girls’ Hostel; MPA Gwadar Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch Inaugurates Facility for University of Gwadar

Fulfilling the commitment made by the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the girls’ hostel allocated for the University of Gwadar was formally inaugurated by MPA Gwadar, Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch. The hostel, constructed by the Government of Balochistan, marks a significant milestone in providing safe, secure, and quality accommodation for female students.
The availability of this girls’ hostel is a major convenience, especially for students coming from areas outside Gwadar who pursue their education at the University of Gwadar. This facility will not only address accommodation challenges for students from other districts but will also contribute to creating a positive, supportive, and conducive academic environment for local students.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Registrar Dolat Khan, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rahim Mehr, Principal of Gwadar College Naseer Ahmed, university officers, and other distinguished guests.
The Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to the Government of Balochistan—particularly Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti—stating that facilities such as the girls’ hostel play a pivotal role in strengthening the University’s development and supporting the educational journey of female students. He termed it an important step toward promoting higher education in the region.
In his remarks, Maulana Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch appreciated the provincial government’s efforts and emphasized that such facilities are crucial for promoting women’s education. He expressed hope that the establishment of the hostel would bring comfort, encouragement, and new opportunities for students.
