Balochistan Caretaker Information Minister Jan Achakzai said institutions of education including Gwadar University are playing a key role in removing the educational backwardness from the province.
He expressed these views while visiting the University, of Gwadar and interactive session with students and faculty members of the varsity on 26th September, 2023. 

Muhammad Naveed Alam Assistant Commissioner Gwadar, Imdad Baloch Project Director University of Gwadar, Sadia Naseer Director of Students Affairs,  Head of Departments, senior faculty members, and students participated in the interactive session. 

The Provincial Minister said the role of teachers is important for the development of any society as without knowledge it's not possible to achieve objectives of growth.
 The Information Minister announced a digital skills scholarship for students and 50 laptops for meritorious students during the interaction session.

Earlier, on behalf of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, of Gwadar University, Director ORIC Muhammad Irshad warmly welcomed the honorable Minster of Information Technology Mr. Jan Achakzai for visiting the university. The Information Minister visited various departments of the University and gave a briefing regarding Gwadar University.

In the end, On behalf of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, the commemorative shields of the university were presented to the distinguished guests and thanked them.
