The University of Gwadar has officially received the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the launch of the MS Chemistry program, issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan under Notification No. DD/2026/QAD-NOC/HEC/UoG-G/MS-Chemistry dated March 12, 2026. This approval marks a significant milestone in the university's academic development. According to HEC’s approval, the relevant faculty members for the program include Dr. Mohibullah (Assistant Professor, PhD Chemistry) and Dr. Abdullah (Assistant Professor, PhD Analytical Chemistry), who will play key roles in the program’s implementation. This development is particularly welcome for graduates in the region, as they will no longer need to travel to other cities for higher education in the field of chemistry. This is the second MS program launched by the University of Gwadar in just four short years since its establishment, highlighting the institution’s rapid progress in a short span of time. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr.Manzoor Ahmed congratulated the Dean, HoD, faculty of the Chemistry Department, and administration on this achievement, noting that this initiative will play a vital role in promoting quality higher education in the region. They reaffirmed the university’s commitment to introducing more modern and high-quality programs in the future.
