The New Student Orientation session at the University of Gwadar was held on 24th October 2023, at the main seminar hall of UG. The orientation was designed to welcome and assist incoming students in their transition to university life and to acquaint them with important information and resources.

The orientation began with a warm welcome address by the Dean Faculty of Social Science Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad. In this address, Prof. Dr Jan Muhammad emphasized the university's commitment to academic excellence and encouraged new students to make the most of their time at the university. On this occasion, Assistant Prof. Dr. Kambar Farooq, Director of Student Affairs Sadia Naseer, Director of Sports Sagheer Naseem, Public Relation Officer Naseer Ahmed, Transport Officer Muhammad Faheem and other faculty members were present.

Various academic support services were introduced to the students, including New students who had the opportunity to meet their academic advisors and administrative staff to discuss course selection degree requirements, and transportation routes.

A Q&A session was held, allowing students to ask questions and seek clarification on various aspects of university life.

The orientation session concluded with closing remarks from Student Affairs Director Sadia Naseer, emphasizing the importance of getting involved in campus life and making the most of the university experience.
