An Online session on "Navigating the SBP EasyData Portal" was held at the University of Gwadar Seminar Hall.

An online session was jointly organized by the National Institute of Banking & Finance (NIBAF), and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in collaboration with the Office of The Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), University of Gwadar to facilitate the students and faculty members of UG in navigating the SBP EasyData Portal on 28th February 2023.

Ms. Mahwish Shozab Deputy Director of, the Data Services and Innovation Department, SBP, along with Ms. Hira Ghaffar, Deputy Director of, the Economic Policy Review Department, SBP shared key insights on the recently launched data portal of SBP.

The Speakers briefly discussed the primary and secondary functions of SBP and highlighted the importance of economic and financial data collection and its public dissemination around the globe.

The resource persons helped the participants of the session to use the unique features and key built-in functionalities in the SBP portal to promote data analysis for their academic purpose.

The online session was attended by Registrar UG Dolat Khan, Dean of Faculty Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, Director ORIC Muhammad Irshad, HoDs, Faculty members, and Students Commerce and Management Sciences Department.
