    A delegation comprising members from Quaid Azam University Islamabad, the University of Wah at Cantt, and the Institute of Regional Studies Islamabad visited the University of Gwadar on 15th November 2022
     
    The delegation was welcomed by Pro-Vice Chancellor  Prof Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed to University for a very fruitful Interactive Session with students and faculty members in the university seminar Hall.
    In his introductory remarks, Prof Nazir Hussain of Wah University outlined the importance of Gwadar in the geo-strategic context. He emphasized the centrality of marine resources and the blue economy in bringing about significant and sustainable change in the regional and national economy.
    Dr. Salma Malik, assistant professor at Quaid Azam University Islamabad, explained venues and possibilities for potential collaborations between the University of Gwadar and other sister Universities in Pakistan to open opportunities for scholarships, exchanges, and internships for students and faculty and students of the University of Gwadar.
    Dr. Reema Shoukat of the Institute of Regional Studies Islamabad discussed the importance of Gwadar in a regional context and explained how Gwadar is vital for regional peace and security and the prosperity of Pakistan. She invited the University of Gwadar to enter into a formal agreement with the Institute of Regional Studies Islamabad for cooperation and mutual benefits. 
    In the end, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed presented tokens of appreciation to the guests.
