“Donate your blood for a reason, let the reason be life”

The Hope Foundation Gwadar in collaboration with the Management Sciences Department University of Gwadar arranged a blood donation camp at UG.
A Blood Donation Camp at Gwadar University on Tuesday 9th May 2023 was a huge success, students and teachers came together to donate blood.
To inculcate a sense of social responsibility and to help thalassemia patients fight fearlessly against this disease, the management science Department of the University of Gwadar and The Hope Foundation Gwadar arranged a blood donation camp in UG on 9th May 2023.
For this noble cause, a huge number of donors came forward. This camp had enthusiastic participation from students as well as faculty and administration. After a quick medical check-up of potential donors, they were served refreshments before donating the blood
On the occasion, 50+ bags of blood were collected at the blood donation camp. Moreover, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir (TI), Vice Chancellor of the University of Gwadar, Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad Dean Faculty of, Social Sciences, Dolat Khan, Registrar UG, faculty members, administrative staff, and male & female students of the University participated in the camp and donated blood voluntarily and wholeheartedly for the emergency needs for Thalassemia patients in the hope foundation Gwadar.
 The medical staff and volunteers professionally examined the blood donors and their blood samples as per the standing operating procedures before issuing them clearance for blood donation. 
Appreciating the efforts of the students and staff of UG and The Hope Foundation Gwadar in organizing the blood donation camp at UG, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir said that besides its academic and non-academic activities, the University of Gwadar has always been committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities as well. 
The students of the Department of Management Sciences attended the camp as volunteers and facilitators.
